uSPEQ and Accreditation
Organizations need data to measure their performance and demonstrate the effectiveness of their services. CARF standards require it. The ASPIRE to Excellence® sections on performance measurement, management, and improvement require ongoing measurement of stakeholder satisfaction using a valid and reliable tool. uSPEQ provides a tool that is statistically proven to be reliable.
uSPEQ questionnaires were developed by experts with input from the field to collect data in a standardized way. The uSPEQ report provides benchmark comparisons to see how your organization performs compared to others.
uSPEQ data is kept completely separate from the accreditation activities of CARF. Even though using uSPEQ surveys can help satisfy part of the CARF standards, uSPEQ alone will not satisfy all standards requirements. During accreditation surveys your organization must independently demonstrate its collection, analysis, and use of the data. Data must be collected on an ongoing basis and the information used to create action plans.
Testimonial
uSPEQ allows us to monitor the level of care we are providing and informs us of areas that we are strong in, but it also lets us know areas we need to improve in.
